By analyzing important metrics like your heart rate (HR), resting heart rate (RHR), and heart rate variability (HRV), Athlytic helps you understand your body’s Recovery, Exertion, and overall performance each day.

Recovery
Your Recovery, calculated on a 0-100% scale, shows how prepared your body is for exertion today. Athlytic uses your Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and Resting Heart Rate (RHR) to calculate this score, comparing today’s readings to your 60-day average baseline. HRV is slightly weighted higher than RHR due to its strong link to autonomic nervous system function. A higher HRV indicates better resilience and recovery from stressors, both physical and mental.
Your Recovery is static for the day, providing a clear snapshot of your readiness at the start of the day, without adjusting for exertion or rest throughout the day.

Exertion
Exertion is measured on a 0-10 scale using your 30-day average max heart rate along with your 60-day average resting heart rate. Your body accumulates Exertion for time spent above a heart rate threshold that is personalized to you.
Target Exertion Zone
Your Target Exertion Zone provides a personalized range of exertion, based on your daily Recovery Score and your selected Training Goal.

Sleep
Athlytic offers an in-depth look at every aspect of your sleep, going beyond just duration. The Sleep Quality score provides a comprehensive percentage-based evaluation of your sleep, considering factors like restorative sleep (REM and Deep sleep), awake time, interruptions, respiratory rate, among other key metrics. This holistic approach ensures you understand not just how long you slept, but how effective your sleep was in aiding recovery.
Athlytic also tracks your Sleep Debt and Sleep Consistency, helping you monitor long-term patterns. Athlytic also analyzes your Heart Rate Dip During Sleep, providing further insights into how well your body rests.

Journal
Athlytic’s Journal feature allows you to track activities from the previous day that might impact your Recovery and Sleep. Whether it’s logging alcohol consumption, dietary choices, workouts, or travel, the Journal helps you understand how these factors influence your health. The Impact Analysis section provides valuable insights into how specific activities, like alcohol, which often negatively affects recovery, can shape your overall well-being.
Additionally, the Journal includes auto-tags for common events such as naps, low stress, sunlight exposure, menstrual flow, and more —giving you a comprehensive view of how your lifestyle impacts your health. This data helps you make informed decisions to improve recovery and performance, all with minimal effort.

Health Monitoring
Athlytic provides 24/7 monitoring of key health metrics, offering a real-time overview of your body’s vital signs. By tracking Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Resting Heart Rate (RHR), Blood Oxygen, Respiratory Rate, and Wrist Temperature (for Series 8 + and Ultra watches ), Athlytic compares your current readings against your personal normal ranges. This allows you to see when a metric is outside the expected range, helping you detect potential issues before symptoms even arise.
You can also customize notifications, ensuring that you’re promptly informed if a health metric shows an abnormal reading, helping you stay proactive about your well-being.

Comprehensive Workout Tracking
Athlytic’s Apple Watch App provides a seamless in-workout experience, allowing you to track every aspect of your exercise in real-time. While you work out, the app displays your heart rate zone with a color-coded HR Zone Chart, helping you monitor your current intensity. You’ll also see your in-workout Effort Score, intensity levels, and a detailed breakdown of aerobic and anaerobic performance.
Once your workout is complete, Athlytic goes deeper. The Workouts Tab on your Athlytic’s iPhone app provides a thorough analysis, including metrics like Cardio Fitness, Heart Rate Recovery, and Training Effect on your HRV.
